Zero Carbon Building
탄소중립건축(Zero Carbon Building, ZCB) 인증은 건물부문 탄소중립 실현에 기여하고 기후변화 위기에 대응하여 탄소중립·녹색성장에 이바지하는 것을 목표로, 건축물·상점·건설현장 등을 대상으로 건물부문 전 과정에서 발생하는 탄소배출량뿐만 아니라 다양한 탄소 감축 활동을 통한 탄소중립 성능에 대한 탄소감축량을 정량적으로 평가하여 탄소중립건축지수(Zero Carbon Building Index, ZCBI)를 기반으로 평가하는 민간주도형 인증제도이다.
Zero Carbon Building (ZCB) certification is developed in order to contribute to the realization of carbon neutrality in the construction field as well as green promotion in response to the climate change crisis, targeting buildings, stores, construction sites, etc. It is a non-governmental certification system that quantitatively evaluates not only the carbon emissions generated in the entire construction process, but also the carbon reduction amount for carbon neutrality performance through various carbon reduction activites by means of the Zero Carbon Building Index (ZCBI).
